We are aware that currently everyone is going through a difficult time with many being affected with Covid 19, shielding, self isolation, and the lock down. Deane medical centre would like to reassure you that we are providing  telephone triages for both acute and chronic illnesses. The hospital is continuing/ providing assessments for suspected cancer for patients that have symptoms that may indicate underlying sinister cause or malignancy. Below is a list or symptoms to look out for. We would ask that you contact us as you normally  would if you develop or are concerned about and including:

  • coughs or coughing up blood
  • swallowing problems
  • unexplained weight loss
  • Breast lumps/ new lumps in abdomen and abdominal pain/ Testicular lumps
  • Blood in urine
  • Post- menopausal bleeding
  • Changes to moles that you may be concerned about.
  • Jaundice
  • Unexplained bruising
  • Altered bowel habits ,especially associated with blood.
